We offer routes adapted to all riding levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert.
• Beginner riders follow routes that combine paved roads and accessible dirt trails.
• Intermediate riders experience more off-road terrain and technical sections.
• Expert riders can expect up to 90% technical off-road riding, including challenging jungle and mountain trails.
Our goal is to adapt the experience to your riding level so that every rider enjoys the tour safely.
If the tour includes public roads, a valid motorcycle license is required to legally ride in Costa Rica.
However, a motorcycle license is not always required to participate in our experiences.
Upon request, we can organize riding sessions exclusively on a closed circuit or private training area, where no public roads are used. This allows beginners or guests without a motorcycle license to safely enjoy dirt bike riding in a controlled environment.
Our goal is to make dirt bike riding accessible to everyone — safely and responsibly.
Costa Rica is a very mountainous country, and distances are often calculated in riding time rather than kilometers.
For example:
• 200 km in Costa Rica can represent an 8-hour riding day
• The same distance in flat terrain such as a desert could take only 4 hours
This is why the daily distances on our maps may appear shorter than expected.
Costa Rica is widely recognized as one of the most politically stable and safest countries in Latin America, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Central America.”
Mechanical sports such as 4x4, ATV riding, and off-road motorcycles are very common throughout the country.
After more than 15 years of riding experience in Costa Rica, we have always had positive interactions with local communities.
Respect for the environment is extremely important to us.
We follow these principles:
• Riding only on authorized roads and trails
• Respecting local laws and communities
• Minimizing noise and environmental impact
• Maintaining motorcycles to reduce emissions and pollution
Our motorcycles and equipment comply with Costa Rican environmental regulations.
We select accommodations that provide comfort, safety, and a local cultural experience.
Depending on the tour, guests may stay in:
• Boutique hotels
• Eco-lodges
• Beach resorts
• Mountain lodges
Our goal is to combine comfort with authentic Costa Rican hospitality.
All motorcycles are covered by third-party liability insurance.
Yes.
Each participant must have personal travel insurance that includes repatriation coverage.
This type of coverage is often included with premium credit cards, but we recommend confirming with your provider before traveling.
All our motorcycles are maintained to very high professional standards.
• Tires are new or at least 80% condition or better
• Motorcycles are checked and inspected daily
• Our team performs regular mechanical inspections
If you feel the motorcycle needs adjustments to better suit your riding style, we will be happy to make the necessary adjustments immediately.
Yes.
You may bring your own gear, or we can help you rent equipment locally.
We strongly recommend using a hydration backpack (such as CamelBak) during the tour.
Staying hydrated is essential during long riding days. Electrolytes and supplements can also help maintain energy, muscle performance, and recovery.
We sometimes provide hydration supplements from our partner Hammer Nutrition.
We recommend bringing the following items:
• Lightweight cotton shirts (including one long-sleeve quick-dry shirt)
• Lightweight pants
• Shorts for warmer areas
• Casual clothing for evenings
• Socks (quick-dry recommended)
• Light sweater or rain jacket (for mountain areas)
• Swimwear
• Hiking shoes or sneakers
• Sandals
• Sunglasses
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Insect repellent
• Camera
• Binoculars (optional)
• Small flashlight
• Personal travel diary or notebook
Rule #1: Pack light.
Recommended riding equipment:
• DOT or ECE approved helmet
• Enduro or motocross jersey and pants (ventilated or waterproof)
• Enduro / motocross boots
• Knee and elbow protection
• Riding gloves (2 pairs recommended)
• Hydration backpack (2–3L capacity)
• Rain jacket
• Small personal tool kit
We keep our groups small and personalized to ensure the best riding experience.
Most tours include 4 to 6 riders maximum per guide, which allows us to adapt the pace, provide better support, and maintain a smooth riding flow.
Private tours can also be organized upon request.
Costa Rica has a tropical climate, and occasional rain showers are part of the adventure.
In most cases, rain showers are short and refreshing, especially in the mountains.
If weather conditions require adjustments, our guides will adapt the route for safety and riding conditions. Flexibility is one of the advantages of riding with experienced local guides.

Our team provides full mechanical assistance throughout the tour. All motorcycles are inspected daily, and our guides carry essential tools and spare parts.
For multi-day tours, we also provide a support vehicle that transports luggage and additional equipment.

For riders with limited experience, we can organize a basic training session before the tour begins.
This allows beginners to become comfortable with the motorcycle and practice important techniques such as:
• Body positioning
• Braking techniques
• Balance and control
• Riding on dirt and uneven terrain
This preparation helps riders feel more confident before heading into the mountains and jungle trails.
Yes.
We provide fully prepared off-road motorcycles that are specifically chosen for the terrain and riding style of our tours.
Each motorcycle is maintained to professional standards and checked daily to ensure maximum reliability and performance.

Private tours can be organized for individual riders, couples, or groups of friends who want a fully customized experience.
Private tours allow us to adapt:
• The route
• The difficulty level
• The daily riding schedule
• Accommodation options
Mechanical issues are rare, but if they occur our team is prepared.
Our guides are experienced riders and mechanics who carry tools and essential spare parts to resolve most issues quickly.
If necessary, the support vehicle can assist or transport the motorcycle.
Yes.
In some tours, non-riding companions can join and enjoy activities such as:
• Beach visits
• Wildlife tours
• Spa and relaxation activities
• Surf lessons
• Rafting excursions
This allows couples or groups with different interests to enjoy the trip together.
